who
sowd.uk is run by Sowd (sowd.dev), a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. Sowd is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: [email protected].
what
This is a portfolio page. There are no accounts, no forms, no analytics and no ads. The only data involved is:
- Server and security logs. When you load the site, your IP address, browser user agent, the page requested and the time pass through Cloudflare (which sits in front of the site for security and delivery) and the web server. They are used only to deliver the site, keep it secure and stop abuse.
- Roblox images. Game icons and the avatar picture load straight from Roblox's image CDN (*.rbxcdn.com). Your browser fetches them, so Roblox receives your IP address and user agent, as with any web request. No Roblox cookies are set by this site. See the Roblox privacy policy.
- Email. If you email [email protected], the message and your address are used to reply to you.
Game stats on the page are fetched by the server from Roblox's public API. That involves no data about you. Links to X, Discord and Roblox only take you to those sites when you click them; their own policies apply there.
why
Under UK GDPR the legal basis for logs and the Roblox image requests is legitimate interests: running a secure, working website. For email it is legitimate interests in answering you, or taking steps towards a contract if you are asking about work.
cookies
The site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. Only the strictly necessary items below are used, so no consent is needed for them. The cookie notice is shown so you know that.

how long
Server logs are short lived: they are wiped whenever the site is redeployed and are not used for anything beyond keeping it running. Cloudflare keeps its own logs under its own policy. Emails are kept for as long as the conversation needs, then deleted within 2 years.
who else
Cloudflare, Inc. (security and delivery) and Roblox Corporation (images) are based in the United States, so data such as your IP address may be processed there. Cloudflare relies on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum / UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. The site itself is hosted on Sowd's own server in the UK. Nothing is sold or shared for marketing.
your rights
You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, ask to restrict or object to its use, and ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Email [email protected] and you will get an answer within one month. If you are unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
children
The site is not aimed at children and collects nothing from visitors beyond the technical data above. If you are under 13 and want to email, ask a parent or guardian first.
changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
